16 Oct 2024 – According to Scott Sutherland, meteorologist and science writer (Weather Network), the biggest and brightest Full Moon in 17 years.
On Oct 17th, the Full Moon, also known as the Hunter’s Moon, will be the biggest and brightest full moon of the year and the biggest and brightest Hunter’s Moon in the past 17 years.
To celebrate this celestial event, I created “Rabbits Under Full Moon.” This mural is one of ten unique panels I am painting for the Clarkson BIA and Mississauga Arts Council. The project celebrates Clarkson’s agricultural past and local wildlife.
Mississauga Artist Chris Erskine celebrated the event with a mural as part of the Clarkson BIA and Mississauga Arts Council’s beautification-place-making projects. Located at 1600 Lakeshore Road West in Clarkson, Mississauga, “Rabbits Under Full Moon” is one of several pieces of mural art celebrating Clarkson’s agricultural past and local wildlife.
